Skegness doesn’t do Halloween like many towns around the country that have street parties that bring in thousands of visitors, so there are no big event on Halloween in Skegness no parade or street entertainers.

There are individual pubs in Skegness that has Halloween events, but other than that nothing goes on :(

Skegness Businesses are rubbish at advertising their events, so your going to have to do the leg work yourself by phoning around.

Halloween is my favourite time of year and it always makes me sad when I can’t find anything decent going on and I have to say Halloween in Skegness isn’t great.

Skegness doesn’t have year round attraction or the kind of big attractions like Alton Tower that has a Scarefest for Halloween or Dinosaur Adventure in Norfolk that has Primevil at Halloween time, which is probably why there’s not much going on in Skegness on Halloween.

I’m personally not into the pub thing I find it boring, so Halloween in a pub doesn’t fill me with the Halloween spirit, what I want in an Halloween event is fun and frights keeping me entertained all night like scarefest at Alton Towers or a scary walk with horror stories around a fire, but these don’t excite in Skeg especially not for adults or teens.

Businesses in skeggy are missing a trick though, Halloween is Big and getting Bigger in the UK. There’s money to be made on Halloween and it gets the kids off the streets scaring little old ladies at their own doors, so investing in Halloween is a good idea all round.

For example the Embassy Theatre usually has no shows on during the Halloween period, if the council set up an Halloween Show or Halloween Ball it would bring in lots of revenue for the theatre.

I’m sure though if you phone around you might find a kiddie disco in a family pub, but I have to say if your a teen or a adult who likes to be scared on Halloween not just dress up I’m afraid your out of look in Skeg.

Butlins has some Halloween Events usually kiddie based, Fantasy Island might have something going on, so give them a call.

The closest Halloween event in Skegness I’ve found that is suitable for Teens and Adults looking for some fun is the Pier, but I’ll keep looking.

The Pier has Special offers on Halloween on Bowling and Lazer Quest buy two games get one free, free buffet and Karaoke and for little kids Captain Kids has a Halloween party.

I’m hoping to find something to do this year on Halloween in Skeg, I’ll write a review about what I find if I do.
