We’ll be going to see the Bat The Symphony in June at the Embassy Theatre Skegness.
This is Steve Steinmens tribute to Meatloaf, we’ve seen his Vampires Rock show and it is awesome, so expect to enjoy this Meatloaf tribute.
A review will follow shortly after.

Absolutely brilliant ,not as good as Meatloaf but what a show. The next best thing.Awesome
The Orchestra stole the show, we would have been happy to have seen a show solely of the orchestra and the lost boys.
We didn’t think that much to the rest of the show, been to see many tribute bands and this one sucked, which is a real shame since I like Vampires Rock.
Other tribute bands go as far as to recreate an actual experience of the real thing, some going as far as to create the persona of the band members, the minimum you expect in a tribute show is for the lead to sound like the artist, if you don’t have that simple requirement it’s just karaoke.
I found bat the symphony to be more a tribute to Steve Steinman rather than Meatloaf, boy he fancies himself and what’s with the disrespect to the female lead singer, sexism is alive and well in Steve’s shows.
Dressing the female lead up like a tart fits in Vampires Rock, kind of, but we felt there was no need to lower the bar and put across this image of the female lead singer in bat the symphony, she should be given more respect.
She has a great voice and Steve wouldn’t be able to pull of a show without her.
When she came on stage in her pant suit she looked lovely, the rest of the time she and the other girls just look tacky.
I’ll be writing a proper review in more detail soon.
Again Orchestra was brilliant and the lost boys rocked as usual, but I found Steve to be lacking the edge to pull off a tribute to Meatloaf.
No where near the real thing.
